“Grappling with Gaza” Book Study

Join CMEP’s academic engagement director, Rev. Dr. Wes Avram, on February 26th at First Congregational Church of Camden for a book discussion tackling an array of faith-based responses to the desolation of Gaza.

Rev. Dr. Wesley Avram serves as the Academic Engagement Director at Churches for Middle East Peace (CMEP). Dr. Avram is also the Emeritus Senior Pastor of Pinnacle Presbyterian Church in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has served as Assistant Professor of Communication at Yale Divinity School and as Chaplain of Bates College. His 40-year experience with the Middle East is informed by experiences with the Middle East Council of Churches and study at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and the Interfaith Academy of Peace at Tantur. He is the editor of Anxious About Empire: Theological Essays on the New Global Realities (2006).
