Hi, I very much want to register for BCBF (10/16-19/2024), but my problem is that I only learned of it right at the start of what I believe was the very first event/talk (by Rick Barry, just ended at 3 pm ET…I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I believe I was the only person watching live on Instagram for most of his talk, though I hope & expect that many more were following along on other platforms).
At the end of the session, Hannah (the moderator from CMEP) kindly advised people like myself wishing to register now or at least access the schedule to visit this URL for those purposes. However, there is nothing here on this webpage that allows me to register or view the schedule. In fact, there is very little on this page at all other than a small column on the left listing CMEP as the organizer, along with a CMEP e-mail address and the URL to the donation page. Other than that, there are just links to “+ Add to Google Calendar” and “+ iCal / Outlook export,’ but when I tried the former, the calendar invite had zero information other than the name of the conference. It simply blocked off the entirety of the four days on my calendar and didn’t include info on where to go/how to attend any of the sessions or how to access recordings afterward, The entire Description section was empty, and there was no schedule of individual sessions, let alone info about their speakers or actual content/subject matter.
I apologize for being late to attempt to register; I truly did know about BCBF until just after Hannah started introducing Rick Barry at the start of the 1st session. But the thematic focus of this conference is of immense importance to me; the subject of faith-based citizenship is one I have long advocated for – with mixed results – within my church (I am a first-generation Coptic Egyptian American, so the church in question is the Coptic Orthodox Church…I attend several individual Coptic churches in the NYC area but St. Mary & St. Mark on the Upper East Side of Manhattan most of all).
I urgently request your assistance in registering and/or accessing the full schedule of this conference. I stand to benefit a great deal from it! Please help!
Very best,
Kyro
