Volunteering with CMEP provides an opportunity for concerned adults to engage more deeply in the work of CMEP by helping with writing/researching, administration, communications, or organizing. Adults of all ages and backgrounds are welcome. Volunteers are considered year-round.  While we welcome commitments for any amount or length of time commitment, the commitment needs to be in sync with the project undertaken. Volunteers work in CMEP’s Capital Hill office during regular office hours of 9-5 Monday through Friday or by special arrangement at other locations.

At this time CMEP has opportunities for volunteers who support CMEP’s mission and work through these projects:

1. Researching, writing, and publication development
2. Helping to spread the word and connect people to actions through social media
3. Assisting with church outreach and partner recruitment
4. Media advocacy and follow-up
