To help us in this work of faith, CMEP has created and gathered a variety of spiritual and educational resources for individual and communal use to help engage your congregation in learning and reflection. Together, we hope to engage and act upon our Christian calling to be peacemakers.

spiritual Resources

P4P provides a way for Christians of diverse political and theological backgrounds to stand up for peace and unite in supplication to God with a special focus on prayers for the Holy Land. P4P provides Jesus’ followers with the common language of prayer around which to mobilize their energy and passion for the land that gave birth to our faith. Read Blog.

Prayer and advocacy concerning peacemaking in the Holy Land is born from our faith in Jesus Christ. To help us in this work of faith CMEP creates seasonal spiritual and educational resources. Together, we hope to engage and act upon our Christian calling to be peacemakers. Find our devotionals here.

A Land Full of God

Christian Perspectives on the Holy Land
Edited by Mae Elise Cannon
Forward by Daniel Roth and Aziz Abu Sarah

A Land Full of God gives American Christians an opportunity to promote peace and justice in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It shows them how to understand the enmity with brief, digestible, and comprehensive essays about the historical, political, religious, and geographical tensions that have led to many of the dynamics we see today. All the while, A Land Full of God walks readers through a biblical perspective of God’s heart for Israel and the historic suffering of the Jewish people, while also remaining sensitive to the experience and suffering of Palestinians. The prevailing wave of Christian voices are seeking a pro-Israeli, pro-Palestinian, pro-peace, pro-justice, pro-poor, and ultimately pro-Jesus approach to bring resolution to the conflict.

A Land Full of God is one of Fupping’s 6 Must-Read Books on the Israel-Palestine Conflict. Hear Mae speak about A Land Full of God on the Red Letter Christian podcast.
