  • Travel with CMEP

    Churches for Middle East Peace (CMEP) partners with MEJDI tours to offer custom group travel to Israel, Palestine, and other destinations in the Middle East. Trips to the region offer pilgrimages and advocacy-oriented travel. While traveling in the Holy Land, trips provide the chance to hear multi-narrative perspectives through the use of two local guides, one Israeli and one Palestinian. They offer various perspectives on the history and current realities of the land.

  • Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

    Join CMEP, the World Council of Churches, our board member organization, the Franciscan Friars, and Christians around the world for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, January 18-24, 2023. The theme for 2023 is: Do good; seek justice (Isaiah 1:17).

    The Franciscans elaborate on the theme for 2023: “The entire scriptural passage for the theme is Isaiah 1:12-18, lamenting a lack of justice among the People of God. Yet, it also promises redemption by encouraging acts of justice.”  Read more about this week here.

    CMEP will be hosting a religious leader from the Middle East January 18, 19, 23, & 24 for a live time of prayer and reflection on Zoom at 10 am Eastern.

  • Action Alert | Contact Your Senators Now: Ask Them to Support the Yemen War Powers Resolution

    Right now, over 21 million people in Yemen are in desperate need of humanitarian assistance. Instead of continuing to support the Saudi-led coalition, the Biden Administration must advance policies that will help bring stability and meet the humanitarian needs of the Yemeni people. It is Congress’ responsibility to hold the Biden Administration and Saudi Arabia accountable by passing the Yemen War Powers Resolution.
