Oday Abdaljawwad

Oday Abdaljawwad is a master’s student at the Coexistence and Conflict Resolution program in Brandeis University.

As a Palestinian refugee, Oday has lived his life in the Gaza strip where he did his undergraduate degree in English Literature at the Islamic University of Gaza. Oday has experience in the field of education and development since he worked as an English teacher at the AMIDEAST and as a project coordinator at Assist Gaza Foundation (a local nonprofit in Gaza).

Being devoted to education wasn’t enough for him. Oday has always pushed himself beyond any means to explore what he is capable of achieving. Being determined to function in the field of Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution has been the result of the work and experiences he has had. In 2016, Abdaljawwad received the Fulbright scholarship to pursue his graduate degree in Coexistence and Conflict Resolution at Brandeis University in Boston

Oday served CMEP as an intern summer 2017.
